Installation Guide
Here are all the details for setting up LxRoot.
Pre-requisites
Before you continue, make sure you have the following at hand:
- You LxRoot license key. You can register for a license key here
- You LxRoot Install Command
If you have already purchased a license, these will have been sent to you by email. You will also be able to find these in your my.lxroot account
Hardware Requirements
- A blank full virtual machine or bare metal server
- Ubuntu 22.04 LTS server
- A minimum of 4GB RAM and 40GB storage
- x86_64/amd64 architecture processor
ARM, containerised environments or any form of paravirtualized environment such as LXD or Virtuozzo are NOT supported yet
Installation steps

Server Requirements
A blank full virtual machine or a bare metal server:
- Root access via SSH
- A user with sudo privileges and type
apt upgrade & apt upgrade -y

Server Environment Reboot
A Reboot is necessary before running the installation command
reboot -

Installation Command
Copy and paste your LxRoot installation command into the terminal and replace 'yourdomain.com' with your chosen panel domain
# Update your system and run the LxRoot installer wget -qO- lxr.sh | bash -s yourdomain.comTipUpdate the DNS for your chosen control panel domain to the IP of the server you are installing LxRoot on before running the installation command

Begin You Installation
Hit Enter and your installation will begin
InfoIt may take upto 30 minutes for the installation to complete. This depends on the speed of your server and your server's internet connection

Completion
Once the installation is completed, a onetime link will be displayed in your terminal. Visit the link to complete the setup in your browser.

Finalize
Follow the steps in your browser to complete your organisation owner account.
Infoif you re-install LxRoot you will need to reissue your license to be able to re-use it. You can do this through my.lxroot.com

Get your port name, username and password to log into your lxRoot Application.
