Prohibited Domains

About

This security tool prevents users from creating websites or subdomains that are identical to the domain names of popular brands and high-authority companies. This is a critical feature for preventing phishing attempts and unauthorized brand impersonation on your cluster.

Recursive Protection

Adding a domain to the prohibited list automatically protects all subdomains. For example, blocking testing.com will also prevent a user from adding blog.testing.com or dev.testing.com.

Domains Blocked by Default:

gmail.com
outlook.com
facebook.com
twitter.com
yahoo.co.uk
hotmail.com
apple.com
icloud.com
live.com
mailchannels.com
aol.com
google.com

Configure Prohibited Domains

You can extend this list to include local competitors, governmental domains, or your own corporate domains to prevent internal misuse.

  1. Open Settings in the left sidebar.
  2. Select Platform.
  3. Navigate to the Prohibited domains section.
  4. Input the domains you would like to add.
Formatting Rule

Enter each prohibited domain on a new line. Do not use commas or spaces between domain entries.

  • Click Save to finish and apply the protection globally.
