Email Tools Are Not Showing on a Website

If the Email management tools are missing from a specific website dashboard, it is typically due to a missing role assignment at the server, package, or website level. Follow these checks in order to restore access.

1. Verify the Server Email Role

First, ensure that at least one server in your cluster has been assigned the Email Role. Without a server designated to handle mail traffic, the platform will hide email-related tools to prevent configuration errors.

2. Check Hosting Package Limits

The website must be assigned to a hosting package that includes email resources. If the package has "0" mailboxes allowed, the tools will be hidden.

  • Navigate to Packages in the sidebar.
  • Edit the package assigned to the customer.
  • Ensure the Email resource is checked or has a non-zero limit assigned.

3. Assign the Email Role to the Website

Even if the server and package are ready, the individual website must be "pointed" to an email server.

  1. Visit Customers and select the relevant account.
  2. Open the Websites tab.
  3. Locate the website and check if a server is listed under the "Email" column.
  4. If it is blank, use the Move Server tool to assign an Email role to the site.

Note: Once the role is assigned, the "Email Accounts," "Forwarders," and "Webmail" icons will automatically appear in the website's management dashboard.
