Staging Websites
About
A staging website is a website with a particular suffix that does not consume a 'Website' package allowance. A staging website has all the same features as a standard website except domain mapping and emails.

Staging websites are identified by this tag in the dashboard.
Configure staging functionality
In order to successfully create a staging website, the following settings must be configured:
- The hosting package must allow 'Staging websites'.
- A staging domain must be configured in Settings > Platform > Platform domains > Staging domain.
DNS Requirement
The nameservers for your configured staging domain must be delegated to your hosting cluster.
Add a staging website
- Open Websites in the left sidebar.
- Click Add new.
- Select either Start from scratch, Install an app, or Clone a website.
- Select the Make this a staging site checkbox.
- Click Add to finish.
Push a staging website live
The push live process converts the staging environment into a production website with its own domain.
- Open Websites in the left sidebar.
- Select the staging website you would like to push live.
- On the website dashboard select Push live.
- When the modal loads, input a production domain and click push live to finish.
