IonCube

The IonCube loader can be enabled on a per-website basis to allow the execution of protected and encoded PHP files. This setting is disabled by default.

Manual Config Cleanup

If you have previously enabled the IonCube loader manually on a website, we recommend removing the php.ini directive prior to enabling the IonCube loader in the LxRoot UI to avoid conflicts.

To enable the IonCube loader on a website:

  1. On the website dashboard, select Advanced then Developer tools.
  2. Scroll to the IonCube loader card.

  3. Toggle IonCube On.
PHP Version Restrictions

The IonCube loader cannot be enabled on websites using PHP 8.0 or 8.2. This is a restriction enforced by IonCube itself.
